Eligibility Criteria

• Exam category - Post MS/DNB and has become IAGES life member and assisted or done 25 laparoscopic surgeries
• Non-exam category - 10 years post-MS/DNB and has done more than 100 laparoscopic procedures
• Last date for registration - 16^th October 2024
• Day 1/ Online platform - 20^th October 2024 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with 16 lecture modules and panel discussion
• Day 2 to Day 4 of the fellowship course - At Biswa Bangla Convention Centre , Kolkata along with WCES and IAGES conference. MCQ paper and Viva assessment
• Convocation for FIAGES - 26^th October 2024 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm

• Exam category - 2 years Post MS/DNB and has become IAGES life member & assisted or performed about 25 LAP groin and or abdominal wall hernia
• Non-exam category - 10 years post-MS/DNB and has done more than 100 Lap hernia repairs
• Last date for registration - 16^th October 2024
• Day 1/ Online platform - 20^th October 2024 from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm with 15 lecture modules and panel discussion
• Day 2 to Day 4 of the fellowship course - At Biswa Bangla Convention Centre , Kolkata along with WCES and IAGES conference. MCQ paper and Viva assessment
• Convocation for FIAGES - 26^th October 2024 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm

• Exam category - 3 years Post MS/DNB or completed Mch Oncology or Gastroenterology and has become IAGES life member and assisted or performed about 25 LAP COLORECTAL SURGERY CASES
• Non-exam category - 10 years post-MS/DNB and has done more than 100 Lap Colorectal procedures
• Last date for registration - 16^th October 2024
• Day 1/ Online platform - 20^th October 2024 from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm with 15 lecture modules and panel discussion
• Day 2 to Day 4 of the fellowship course - At Biswa Bangla Convention Centre , Kolkata along with WCES and IAGES conference. MCQ paper and Viva assessment
• Convocation for FIAGES - 26^th October 2024 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm

What a candidate need to do?

1. Become an IAGES Life member and apply or as Member of collaborating associations www.iages.in (Open for overseas delegates)
2. Apply for the Course, conference, and convocation combo by log on to www.wces-iages2024.in
3. Join for the full day Online session on Saturday , 20^th October 2024 for day 1 lecture modules.
4. Plan to reach 9 a.m. on 23^rd October to WCES Conference Venue, Biswa Bangla Convention Centre to attend rest of the academic sessions till 26^th October 2024. Participate in the MCQ written and Viva part of the assessment.
5. Mandatory attendance of the academic sessions in the halls as indicated for the respective fellowship course.
6. On satisfactory completion of all the modules and successful assessment marks, you will be invited to receive the fellowship certificate during the grand colourful convocation ceremony on 26^th October 2024 12.30 pm to 2:00 pm.

• 1. What is unique about the Course, conference, and convocation combo?

  This would be a unique opportunity for the delegates. Unlike before, registered delegates have to travel to the fellowship course destination(KOLKATA) only once wherein they will be able to complete their course and return home with a convocation certificate in 4 days of academic feast at WCES IAGES 2024 KOLKATA

• 2. Will this hybrid fellowship course model be the same as the conventional 3-day structured IAGES Fellowship courses?

  Essentially yes. The structure and intensity of the course would be as it used to be in the conventional onsite model. Here in a hybrid model, many lectures will be covered on the 20th October 2024 as online webinar. Then hands-on simulation and live session will be held in WCES Conference venue from 23rd to 26th October 2024. Attendance to all 4 days of WCES IAGES 2024 are mandatory and cover all the required topics. Finally, you will attend the convocation on 26th October 2024 afer the successful completion of the MCQ and Viva assessment.

• 3. How much time and money we could save on taking this combo offer?

  One-Stop fellowship course will save you significant time and money. Moreover you have the benefit of attending the WCES IAGES 2024 in the same package!

• 4. When and how will I receive the fellowship certificates?

  IAGES fellowship convocation is planned on 26th October 2024 and you could also receive all your fellowship certificates from previous courses in addition to the Current Combo course certificate.

• 5. Is it possible to attend with spot registration?

  No. you need to register early as we have limited the seats to 100 in FIAGES and 75 in FALS Hernia and 50 in FALS Colorectal courses. The last date for registration is 16.10.24. Please hurry and book your spot!

• 6. Is it possible to simultaneously take FIAGES with FALS HERNIA or FALS colorectal?

  No. It is not possible. You can select any one of the 3 fellowship courses only as a One-stop Fellowship course during WCES IAGES 2024.
